Janay McLean, BSN, RN 

AACN Northeast Georgia Chapter Secretary/Assistant Nurse Manager of NGHS Braselton ICU

Janay is passionate about critical care and changing lives in this community.

April teaches in the BSN program at the University of North Georgia. She recently completed the DNP program at UNG, graduating in May 2025. Her area of interest for her DNP project was Post-Intensive Care Syndrome, as well as nurse knowledge and practice related to the A-F Bundle. She has 18+ years of critical care nursing experience.  She currently also works part-time as a nurse practitioner at Student Health Services at UNG. She has been actively involved in AACN for many years and serves on the Region 6 Planning Committee.
